GNF is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow for research in the discovery of naturally occurring bioactive small molecules that modulate developmental and neurobiological processes. Projects will involve screening of tissue extracts for activity in cell based assays, including activation of orphan receptors. Candidates for this position should have a strong background in natural products isolation techniques. The successful candidate will use state-of-the-art screening technologies and have close collaboration with the metabolomics, discovery biology, and analytical groups at GNF. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemistry, pharmacology, or a related field, a strong publication record, and be highly motivated.
