Job Code: TO06-016
Our aim is to identify and characterize regulators of the mammalian RNA interference pathway. We have run chemical genomic and genomic screens seeking positive and negative regulators of the RNAi machinery and now seek to exploit initial findings through extensive follow-up. Project goals include both drug discovery and publication components, offering the successful candidate experience in high-throughput screening, assay development and optimization, and in vitro and target validation opportunities in a world-class genomics setting. The successful candidate should have extensive cell biology, cell culture, and signaling experience and be thoroughly capable of functioning both autonomously and in a team setting. Experience with cancer biology models, microRNA function, or target validation in a drug-discovery setting, though not required, would be favored.
